2024 Impact Report

CAPCC

NEW LOOK, SAME VISION FOR 2025

We are excited to announce a refreshed brand identity, showcasing our continued dedication to providing compassionate care and support. The updated branding, which features a modern and hopeful colour palette, maintains the core mission, vision, and values that have guided our work since its inception. Colours are powerful communication tools—they influence our thinking, inspire decisions, and evoke emotional connections.

Our new logo and brand colours reflect our values. Orange expresses warmth, joy, and emotional strength, making our clients feel welcomed and supported. Cherry red conveys courage, determination, and love—qualities we see in our clients every day as they take brave steps toward positive change. Yellow represents sunshine, happiness, and optimism, reminding our clients they are treated with dignity and encouraged to embrace hope for their future. The rebrand reflects our commitment to staying current and approachable while remaining deeply rooted in our mission.

WORKING TOWARDS OUR MISSION

In a world inundated with conflicting information and unsolicited advice, the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre (CAPCC) educates and encourages vulnerable men and women to make well-informed decisions that positively impact their lives before, during, and after pregnancy.

Our mission is to equip and empower individuals and their families seeking pregnancy-related resources. We do this by delivering accurate information to those facing an unexpected pregnancy, offering support to those affected by a pregnancy loss/abortion, providing healthy relationships education, positive parenting, and life skills development for men and women, providing a nurturing Maternity Home and, connecting clients with community resources.

Our work is value-driven, and our programs focus on improving the outcomes of vulnerable people. It is essential that we put those we serve at the heart of all we do. Our efforts to support others mean practicing genuine care and compassion through biblical hospitality.

OUR PROGRAMS

Our programs deliver compassionate and loving support for families and individuals. Get to know how we serve here.

MATERNITY HOME PROGRAM

Our Maternity Home Program provides an emotionally and physically safe environment and offers opportunities for women to build trusting relationships, learn new skills, and increase their ability to cope. The program utilizes trauma-informed care practices as a framework for its operation.

During their stay, the women are empowered and taught life skills in a hands-on, relational environment. The program can accommodate 11 pregnant and parenting women and their children at any given time.

FUTURE ENDEAVORS

In 2024, nearly 400 visits occurred in our Clothing Boutique, where clients benefited from gently used maternity wear, baby clothes, diapers, wipes and formula. To increase the impact of the boutique, it is expanding to include a financial literacy program. This expansion will allow us to do more than provide supplies. It will educate clients on financial resilience and address the root cause of why clients access the clothing boutique regularly.

With your continued support, we can help build a better future together for the men, women and families who access our programs. Let’s write the next chapter together!

“After the abortion, I learned I had been wrong in thinking I could go back to the way things were before. I felt the loss of that baby. Since I had chosen the abortion, I didn't think I had any right to grieve. Thankfully, I took the Post Abortion Support Program and finally allowed myself to grieve my child."
