CAPCC

I believe in the vision of the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre. I believe in our volunteers and staff who have a life-changing impact on the men and women we serve. I hear the stories of fear, shame, and brokenness and I see the men and women who have been transformed with hope and healing. Knowing they trust us with their stories and find knowledge, support, and community, means we have served them well.

Despite the warmer temperatures, people are still searching for hope. Last summer, 281 client visits were held and we anticipate this summer will be similar. Please continue to support the work of the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre with your prayers and financial gifts.

Our donations typically decrease in July and August and we need your help to continue to assist those who need support. Consider a one-time gift, increase your current giving, begin giving regularly, and/or volunteer in one of our centre locations. Sustained donations enable us to meet the needs in our communities, and look ahead with strategic innovation. Your donation reminds the men and women we serve, that their stories matter.

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do as beacons of hope.

Red Deer:

At our office in Red Deer, we have seen an increased number of new clients, most of whom are looking for pregnancy options support. These men and women are open and vulnerable by sharing their stories with us. We are also evaluating our programs and collecting client feedback to ensure we are meeting the needs of our community. Because of your support, we continue to offer hope, compassion and grace to everyone who walks through our doors.

Last month, we hosted our second Ladies' Afternoon Tea to raise funds for our Maternity Home Program. Due to inflation, it costs approximately $3000 a month per resident, so the support from our community is crucial for these moms and babies. We were amazed by the number of women who attended the Tea and had to start a waitlist. Next year will be even bigger and better!

Rocky Mountain House:

We want to thank the Rocky Mountain House community for your encouragement. Your support makes it possible for us to offer our programs free of charge. We continue to collaborate with other organizations in and around Rocky Mountain House including a partnership with the Wellness Committee at the Big Horn Reserve. This year, we have presented and offered our programs in various locations in the Town of Rocky Mountain House, the Village of Caroline and the Big Horn Reserve.

Stettler:

We are happy to grow and establish connections in our community which bring awareness to our programs and services. One is a relationship with the Stettler Food Bank for baby clothing and formula. The Family Resource Network also runs a parent group from our office. Our centre has become a place where families and individuals can connect with others facing the same challenges. We continue to support our clients with excellence, care, and a tender and compassionate heart and mind. We are grateful to our local community who have sustained us for the past year and the years to come.
